Process - Polishing -
During manufacturing of touch screens (TP, on-cell, OGS), organic matters (oil film, etc.) may adhere to the panel surface. In addition, during manufacturing of the panels (LCD, organic EL panel; OLED), cullet (waste glasses) may adhere to the surface of a panel. In such situations air bubbles are likely to occur in a lamination process.
Such foreign matter adherence will lead to low yield and "polishing" process is an important step to remove such causes. Now there is a market demand to reliably remove the foreign matter from surface of liquid crystal panels (LCD), organic EL panels (OLED), and touch panels (TP).
Pad system for polishing
Removes the organic matter deposited on the sensor surface of the touch screens (TP, on-cell, OGS)
By using rotation polishing with a dedicated polishing pad, it enables to reliably remove only organic matter (oil film) without damaging the sensor surface of the touch panels (TP, on-cell, OGS).
Removes adhered dust (such as cullet) on panels (liquid crystal panel; LCD, organic EL panel; OLED)
By using a mechanical polishing, either by rotation or swing polishing, with a dedicated polishing sheet, it enables to reliably remove adhered dust (such as cullet) from panels (LCD, organic EL panel; OELD).
Keep the polishing performance with high precision back-up.
A high precision back-up is featured at back of a polishing pad, increasing the touch amount to keep the polishing power. Also by evenly touching panels it reduces polishing stress which contributes to avoid polishing power decrease.
